Top-class mixing and separating technology: Bauer MAT at bauma 2025

  • BE 100: Compact desanding plant for small construction sites
  • CMS 50: Efficient mixing plant with intelligent controls
  • IPA 250-E: Electric injection plant for sustainable operation
  • BD 30-C: Powerful decanter centrifuge for smaller sites

Munich, Germany – Bauer MAT Slurry Handling Systems, a subsidiary of the BAUER Maschinen Group, once again showcased a range of innovative mixing and separation systems at bauma 2025. With the compact BE 100 desanding plant, the upgraded CMS 50 mixing plant, the electric IPA 250-E injection plant, and the new BD 30-C decanter centrifuge, the company presented an impressive selection from its portfolio.

BE 100: Flexible desanding solution for small construction sites

The growing demand for geothermal heat projects requires compact and mobile solutions for desanding of drilling fluids and stabilizing slurries. That's why Bauer MAT developed the BE 100 – a powerful desanding plant with a capacity of up to 100 m³/h. Thanks to its low weight of 2,200 kg, it is particularly easy to transport. Two different discharge options (to the bottom or side) enable flexible integration on sites, while high-quality filters with 7 g of centrifugal force ensure efficient separation of solids. Thanks to the robust, hot-dip galvanized steel structure and wearproof pump, the BE 100 stands out for durability and high performance.

CMS 50: Modern enhancement of the CMS 45

With the CMS 50, Bauer MAT presented the successor to the successful CMS 45. The fully automated plant with PLC control delivers a 10% higher mixing capacity with a capacity of 50 m³/h (water/cement ratio 1.0). Precise sensors, an intelligent, self-learning control, and the ability to save up to ten recipes enable optimized process monitoring. A newly developed water tank integrated into the plant’s roof improves space utilization, while the decoupled recirculation line minimizes vibrations and thereby increases the accuracy of weight measurements.

IPA 250-E: Fully automated injection plant

The IPA 250-E combines proven MAT mixing technology with Obermann pumping technology, setting new standards in injection technology. It is fully electro-hydraulically driven. The newly developed user interface of the control panel considerably simplifies operation, while the patented mixing system ensures a fine distribution of solids in the slurry. Integrated batch logging and process data recording provide continuous documentation of the injection processes. The compact injection plant for colloidal slurry preparation has a maximum output of 250 l/min.

BD 30-C: Efficient separation of solids on small sites

With the BD 30-C, Bauer MAT extended its portfolio with a compact decanter centrifuge for smaller sites. The robust plant impresses with energy-efficient operation and exceptional separation performance. A fully closed and insulated container design reduces noise emissions and facilitates transport. Wear is minimized by intelligent controls and a new drum and auger design featuring stainless steel.

New approaches to sustainability and maintenance costs

Separating fine and finest solids from slurries using decanter centrifuges is a technically demanding process. The rotors reach speeds of up to 2,400 rpm and a maximum centrifugal force of 1,900 g. For this reason, regular maintenance and overhauls of rotors and bearings are essential. To considerably reduce the expense and cost of maintenance, BAUER MAT Slurry Handling Systems is taking a new approach with the BD 90 decanter series: Customers can exchange rotors in need of overhaul for completely overhauled units. This reduces downtimes during maintenance or repairs and considerably reduces costs compared to purchasing a new rotor. Additional advantages include: optionally available separate pedestal bearing blocks allow customers to replace the rotor easily using their own personnel; the warranty period offered by MAT for an overhauled rotor is equivalent to that of a new rotor; rotors in nearly any condition can be overhauled by MAT, conserving resources and raw materials; optimal planning of replacement periods for the customer as well as significantly increased operational safety thanks to defined replacement intervals.
