RTG Rammtechnik presents new sheet pile press MPZ 700 – 800

Munich, Germany – During bauma 2025, RTG Rammtechnik GmbH presented its newly developed MPZ 700 – 800 sheet pile press at the stand of its sales partner, terra Infrastructure GmbH. With a higher pressing speed, flexible adjustment to different profiles, and an innovative automation system, it sets new standards for this technique. 

Flexible use for Z profiles

The MPZ 700 – 800 is allows for seamless operation with Z profiles in range of 700 to 800 mm. The angular adjustment of the clamping jaws is accomplished by a hydraulic clamping device that quickly adapts to different profiles with the same width. This significantly simplifies the operator’s work and ensures maximum efficiency on the job site.

Maximum speed for higher productivity

By increasing the volumetric flow up to 850 l/min, the sheet pile press achieves impressive pressing speeds: up to 9.4 m/min during extension and 12.0 m/min during retraction. This makes the work process considerably faster and markedly shortens the construction time.

Modular design for easy adaptation

The MPZ 700 – 800 also features an impressive, field-proven modular design. Main components such as the press cylinder, hydraulic and electrical elements remain unchanged, allowing for an easy conversion from MPZ (Z profiles) to MPU (U profiles) by exchanging the guide box. A newly developed transport frame further simplifies the assembly of components as well as conversion.

Innovative press automation for optimized processes

Another highlight of the MPZ 700 – 800 is its innovative automated pressing system. This enables operators to run various press sequences automatically. Apart from predefined sequences, a custom sequence can also be programmed. The entire pressing process is monitored by electronic sensors for enhanced safety and precision.

Easy operation and fast attachment

Operating the MPZ 700 – 800 is now even more convenient thanks to technical innovations. The Automatic Coupling System ACS makes it much easier to attach and remove the press from the base carrier. Furthermore, the entire machine/sheet pile press unit can be operated by remote control, providing operators with optimal control and safe handling.
