New sales branch of BAUER Maschinen GmbH for DACH customers

Edelshausen/Duisburg, Germany – Even closer to the customer: At the beginning of this year, the sales activities of BAUER Maschinen GmbH for the DACH region were combined into a new branch office. Since then, the experienced team led by Alfred Widmann has been directly assisting customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg, acting as a contact for all topics related to the equipment range of BAUER Maschinen GmbH, including the Obermann MAT products as well as comprehensive assistance for all customer service and maintenance topics.

“We are committed to offering our customers an improved service in the future,” says Alfred Widmann. The strategy is to communicate directly, react more quickly and provide the customers with comprehensive advice. In addition to supplying wear parts, spare parts and carrying out repairs, this also includes, for example, intensive assistance of equipment operators on site by an experienced service consultant.

This is much appreciated by customers such as Celler Grundbau. The subsidiary of Celler Brunnenbau Holding has been a loyal customer of BAUER Maschinen GmbH since the 1980s. “Over our many years of collaboration, a very close relationship and deep partnership has developed that goes well beyond a typical customer-supplier relationship,” reports Alfred Widmann.

Just recently, a new BAUER BG 23 H was handed over to Celler Grundbau. The occasion was worth celebrating, not just for the handover itself but also to continue a truly special tradition. In the past, all machines have been christened before being adopted into the fleet, and this latest arrival was also given a name of its own. Its namesake was Julia Wietfeldt, wife of principal shareholder Dirk Wietfeldt. “It was a particular pleasure to celebrate the official christening with both of them, as well as the managing director of Celler Grundbau GmbH, Alexander Benning, and his partner Angela,” says Alfred Widmann.

The christening was held at the site in Duisburg, where the BG 23 H was also put to use right away for the first time. For the project Freiheit Nord, Baufeld 04, which Celler Grundbau is executing on behalf of Hochtief Infrastructure GmbH, an excavation pit with two underground floors needs to be constructed. A seven-story administrative building with a stepped design will be constructed here later. For the construction of the Berlin wall with one or two-layer tie backs, the BAUER BG 20 H “Wicki” and the newly delivered BG 23 H “Julia” were used. “We wish them further success and look forward to continuing our close partnership,” remarks Alfred Widmann.
