The recipe for our success is teamwork. This also applies for our management. Let us introduce ourselves: the management team of BAUER Maschinen GmbH. 

Wulf Flos

Wulf Flos, born in 1979, studied International Business Administration at the University of Brighton. After initial professional positions in the areas of sales (KEYENCE Deutschland GmbH), organization & logistics (Interspar Gesellschaft M.B.H.) and management consulting (Consulting stellwerk), he took on the role of product manager at LIEBHERR Werk Bischofshofen GmbH in 2007. Just two years later, he moved to the position of divisional manager at Saudi LIEBHERR Company Ltd. and subsequently took over the management of LIEBHERR-Australia Pty Ltd in 2011. In 2017, Wulf Flos moved to BAUER Maschinen GmbH. He initially was in charge of investment management and, from 2021, head of distribution and sales operations. In 2019, he became a member of the executive management board and has been responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Parts & Service and Sales as Managing Director since 2022. 

Other functions and memberships: Various functions in supervisory and administrative boards within the BAUER Group; member of the Rotary Club Schrobenhausen-Aichach 

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Martin Fried

Martin Fried, born in 1981, has served as CTO on the Bauer Maschinen Executive Board since mid-April 2026, overseeing the areas of research, development, and quality management. Martin Fried has held a leadership position at Bauer Maschinen since June 2025, most recently as Director of Control Systems Engineering & R&D (Research & Development). In this role, he was responsible for product and platform development in control and systems engineering across all product lines. Previously, he held international management and development positions at AVL and AUDI. He brings extensive experience in research and development, electrical and electronic engineering, software, system architecture, functional safety, digitalization, and the management of complex development projects. Digitalization and the associated field of AI are key future areas for Bauer Maschinen, which he will strengthen and further expand with his expertise.

Thomas Salensky

Thomas Salensky, born in 1972, has been Commercial Managing Director at Bauer Maschinen since February 2026. He has many years of international management experience in mechanical and plant engineering with a particular focus on business optimization. One of his main areas of focus at Bauer Maschinen is driving forward ongoing transformation processes and initiating new ones with the aim of securing and continuously increasing the company's profitability.

From 2009 to 2026, Thomas Salensky held various management positions at Thyssenkrupp Elevator (TKE), most recently as CFO for Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Russia, the CIS states, Eastern Europe, and Israel, as well as Managing Director for Austria & Eastern Europe and member of the Board of Directors in Switzerland. Prior to that, he was responsible for finance, purchasing, and logistics at Schoeller-Bleckmann Oilfield Technology.

His solid background is based on an MBA in finance (WU Vienna / University of Glasgow).
