Training the Trainer

Our BAUER Training Center (BTC) trainers have been working internationally for many years to train our customers in the correct use of our machines - from Europe to Asia and North America. It goes without saying that they know their way around best and must always be up to date in order to train prospective - or even experienced - equipment professionals in the best possible way in dealing with the latest innovations and improvements. After all, we are constantly working on optimizing the controls of our machines and making them even safer thanks to our constantly evolving assistance systems.

The BAUER Training Center therefore invited its certified trainers to the first International Trainer Meeting at the end of April to refresh and expand their knowledge. On site in Schrobenhausen, they learned all about the latest innovations in the equipment portfolio, the technical developments and the topic of digitalization. And when all our equipment professionals are gathered in one place, networking in a convivial atmosphere is a must. And the best thing about it all: at the end of the event, our trainers were able to get to know and test the latest machines and developments in detail at the Bauer Maschinen In-House Exhibition, which took place at the same time.

As the BAUER Training Center not only strives to prepare its trainers in the best possible way for knowledge transfer, but also to continuously expand the global trainer network, we are delighted that three prospective trainers for our drilling rigs started their training at the beginning of April and have now successfully completed it. We are delighted to welcome Jason Martinelli, Robert Kerns and Mustapha Elwaziki from our service partner ECA (Equipment Corporation of America) to the team.

With the support of our long-standing trainer Bruce Bradley from BAUER Equipment America and other experienced trainers as well as various colleagues from product management, a lot of theoretical content was taught and practically applied on our training parcours. In addition, the prospective trainers gained sound knowledge in the didactic and methodical communication of the content.

Following their training, they were able to successfully demonstrate their knowledge at the International Trainer Meeting by presenting learning modules to experienced trainers. This enabled them to deepen what they had previously learned and at the same time give the "old trainers" new insights for teaching learning content. A big win for both sides!

We wish our new equipment trainers much success and fun in their work and look forward to many more years together with our old trainers.
